A rare vintage French 1940's bras,s hand woven, extra large round handled metal market/egg basket - a unique piece to add to your collection that would also be stunning as a wall accent.
It's believed to have been handmade in France in the 1940's of hand woven brass in a filigree style. The beautiful extra large round shape is elegant and accented with the brass rod handle that easily folds down when not in use.
While it could be polished, it has a beautiful patina finish as is, that adds a sophisticated, rustic vintage appeal. Please see photos for condition reference.
