The cathedral … Read more Distinctive set of six rattan dining armchairs made in the California coastal organic modern style by McGuire artisans. The cathedral style was designed by John McGuire and features a gothic lancet arch style back with a fretwork design viewed from the back. The set consists of all armchairs crafted from pole rattan and reinforced with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. The seats were custom ordered with a geometric striped pattern fabric having a pearlescent M on the backs of the seat signifying their bespoke history. The chairs have a rich, dark finish with an aged patina on the leather strapping. Very sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Sold as a set of six. McGuire plaques on bottoms of seats.
