The firm was in business through the … Read more This Tea Table was manufactured by the Brandt Furniture Company of Hagerstown, Maryland. The firm was in business through the mid 1980s and I'm guessing this piece dates from the latter part of the 20th century. This American company is known for quality furniture. The tea table is of the Queen Anne style, with graceful cabriole legs, pad feet and brass pulls for each of the candle slides. There is a lovely shell motif on both sides (one is repaired, see picture #4). The finish is indicated as Antique Mahogany. The table is in overall great condition for its age, aside from a barely noticeable pressure mark in the finish (partial circular shape, only noticeable from an angle; see the final picture).
