This architectural piece is on the "up" in statement interior design. It can be used for so much more than simply a lift door. It can be used as a the base top for a fabulous dining table, a room divider, a wall screen, a garden feature, or quite simply as art. It could also be installed to make a fantastic statement piece used to divide your dining room from the kitchen area to facilitate a more intimate dining experience or to divide an office space from the rest of the living room or den. The door, when expanded, measures approximately 88" x 60"-70" x 1". This measurement is only approximate as the door is extremely heavy and as it is not installed on a rail currently (which would allow for it to be easily expanded and collapsed) The 60" - 70" range on width is an estimate, I know it expands to the 60" mark as I was able to maneuver the door to that point before getting to a wall. I am unable to move the door by myself, as it weighs easily close to, if not more than, 200 lbs. It is a well made, extremely heavy piece that will last several lifetimes over. Prior to being installed it takes two people to move. See less
