ALEKSANDER SOŁTAN (born 1903, died 1994)
studied in the years 1927-1932 at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts (1932-1936) under the supervision of Władysław Skoczylas and Leon Wyczółkowski (graphics) and Tadeusz Pruszkowski (painting), from whom he obtained a diploma in 1937. He was a lecturer and director of the Printing High School in Warsaw (1937-1939 and 1947-1949).
After the war, he was the graphic director of the publishing house "Wiedza" (1947-1949) and editor of the magazine "Poligrafika". He created mainly in the technique of lithography, but he also dealt with applied graphics. This piece has an attribution mark,
