A stunning antique kilim, hand woven circa 1900 in or around Shirvan in what is now south-east Azerbaidjan. The kilim has been finely woven in a traditional banded design of hooked medallions with fabulous colours.
Size: 3.33m x 1.96m (10ft 11in x 6'ft 5in)
This kilim is in good original condition with very light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
