Art deco odetta cider (or water!) pitcher
body with quadrilobed shape, very beautiful stylized geometric art deco, africanist decoration
in ocher & green enameled stoneware (manganese oxide), matt marmoreal enamel
signed by the hb factory (for the maison de la hubaudière) odetta in quimper
shape no. 206 & decor no. 1086
the odetta brand (named after the odet river, near which the sandstone clay used for this production was located) was produced by the hb factory between 1926 and 1936.
a small chip to deplore on the inside edge of the collar this piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
