This antique Persian Malayer rug (circa 1930s) features a unique blend of colors and an intricately beautiful design. The central design consists of a vertical line of geometric-tribal elements, surrounded by complementary figures in the surrounding field and border. The various shades of red, orange, brown, cream, and soft blue blend beautifully with the blue background.
