Antique Angora Oushak rug with solid background in teal, blue, orange colors and accent colors of red and pink. Keivan Woven Arts rug V21-0117, country of origin/type: Turkey/Oushak, circa 1880.
This antique Turkish rug (circa 1880) features a solid background in Blue and teal background and orange color border. The tones of this charming carpet are enhance by pure angora wool. The small floral details that rest in the borders ingeniously direct the eyes inward toward the empty field, while simultaneously tying together the entire composition. This rug has an excellent pile.
