It is created from strands of tightly woven brown wicker. The base has a small fluted bottom. The top of the vase has overlapping pieces of wicker that resemble the Star of David. This would be great to use as a guide for arranging flowers. (You could do either real of fake!) If you decide to go with real, he bottom of the urn is open and there is enough space to place a glass vessel inside for use with real flowers. We see this piece on a credenza in a foyer, on a tall pillar in a living room, or at the end of the hallway.
