A … Read more This unusual fold out wooden traveling desk opens to reveal a purple felt writing surface and multiple storage/filing compartments. A small writing instrument box slides out via a hidden spring when the writing surface is extended. Another small "hidden" compartment is discovered under the writing surface accessed by pulling a cloth tab. The top and front of the box is inlaid with a darker wood creating a border design. The top of the box is also painted with an intricate flower, leaf and arrow motif. The desk may be locked and the key is included. See less

The design on the top of the box is bisected by a crack across the inlaid portion. The rear edge of the top of the box has some additional wear. The border at the bottom of the box shows some scuffing and a small scrape. The purple felt writing area is missing a small piece of the leather border on upper left side. The front of the sliding writing instrument box could use a bit of repair at the corners. less
