A 1920s guidebook to restaurants and cafes of Paris. Therese and Louise Bonney were two American sisters who resided in the French capital in the 1920s and early 30s. The guidebook features a directory of restaurants, bars and tea rooms, including sample menus from some establishments. There are also sections on technique for ordering a meal in France, 'a few "don'ts" for the wine list, and French specialities "interpreted". The book serves as a companion volume to Buying Antique and Modern Furniture in Paris, published in the same month. See less
