A fine, signed antique American stickpin.
In 14 karat yellow gold.
By Rees & Son of NYC.
With a trio of bezel-set diamonds beneath a large green turquoise cabochon.
The head is removeable and intended to be switched out with another stickpin head.
This seems to have been a (short-lived) design marketed by Rees & Son that, while catchy and incredibly practical, never really caught on.
Simply a wonderful Edwardian stickpin!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is a visible fissure to the face of the cabochon, some bends to the pin stem and some light edge wear. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Marked to the reverse with 14k / a maker's mark / PAT. AUG.25.08
Fineness:
Marked 14k for gold fineness.
