On The Design:

This vintage rug’s lower-left border has the signature “ISP.Y.C.E.” and the beginning most likely connotes an Isparta rug, while the last three initials are most likely those of the weaver.

A beige open field is enfolded by a teal blue and green border, making for one of the most intriguing minimalist designs we’ve seen among mid-century Turkish rugs, and absolutely one-of-a-kind among both oversized rugs and gallery runners alike.
