An alluring patinated bronze sculpture of a nude woman laying on a stone plinth; she is facing the sky and is accompanied by a small dove standing on her leg. This beautiful piece is made by Richards Poey. It is inspired by "The Swan" play, where a princess is constrained by her royal duties and unfulfilled life, meets a mysterious and enchanting visitor who embodies the grace of a swan. As they fall deeply in love, the play concludes with them metaphorically flying away together, representing their escape into a blissful and liberated existence. Made in America, 2007. Signed by the artist on the bronze and also numbered 3/6, dated 2007.
