On the Design:

Rich bronze brown hues underscore an all over repeat of floral patterns in blue and cream tones, with fine curves and budding forms strongly resembling pomegranate motifs. Though this form represents a more minimalist approach, admirers of the craft and keen eyes will note inspiration from the many provenances known for repeating floral patterns in dense, deftly woven designs as this—a thoughtful and elegant new take on a traditional look.

The block printing process is one of the oldest in textile design and has seen many adaptations. To wit, many of our designs draw on time-honored, even archaic designs, such as 17th-century Mogul rug patterns that allow admirers of the craft to make their own personal connection.
