Birds of Britain was published simultaneously in England, the USA, France, Italy, Germany, and other countries. The book is a collection of photographs of 1960s "birds" (period British slang for attractive young women), mostly celebrity models, singers, and actresses, with captions by Anthony Haden-Guest. Quarto. Original red cloth boards, German titles to spine gilt. With the German titled dust jacket, and the German publisher's wraparound band. Photographic illustrations throughout. Near fine in near fine dust jacket and wraparound band.
