A lovely vintage Beshir rug, hand woven in Turkmenistan circa 1980 with a traditional all over design on a dark indigo field and great secondary colours. Interestingly inscribed with T.C.C.P. (Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic) at the bottom.
Size: 1.93m x 1.25m (6ft 4in x 4ft 1in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
