A fabulous antique Sarouk Ferahan rug, handwoven circa 1910 with a large medallion design on a rich tomato red field. Lovely wool quality and stunning secondary colours of blues, greens and golds.
Size: 2.20m x 1.42m (7ft 3in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with light age related wear, slightly heavier in a couple of small areas (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
