A beautiful antique Mazalagan rug, handwoven circa 1900 with a hexagonal medallion of stylised flowers on a plain red field. Note the small animal motifs in the corner spandrels. Finely woven and lovely wool quality.
Size: 1.87m x 1.41m (6ft 2in x 4ft 8in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
