This lovely old tea set is the palest blue dip jasperware I have ever seen. It has a lovely, soft glow which is very appealing, and its sensual form, wedded to an immutably classicist decoration is an early herald of the Art Nouveau style. This tea set in the rare St Louis pattern is early 1880s production. It is more than worthy of any jasperware collection.
