This vintage 5x7 Persian kilim is a mid-century tribal rug, handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960.
The design enjoys vertical stripes and plaid borders relishing bright and warm red, black, white, orange, and gold tones. Keen eyes will further note geometric patterns within the stripes and admire their subtle complement to their simple presence. Its border further hosts colorful textural accents in the many elements that remark a more personal flat weave style in its provenance.
This mid-century Persian tribal Kilim further enjoys good condition for its age and origin.
