One teacup has a small chip (.25") on the part where you would not put your lips to drink. Teacups have discoloration in the bottom of them from many tea pours. One desert plate has a hairline crack but the plate is still very sturdy and able to use for eating. Gold is bright and intact other than the tiny bit of wear on the underside of the handle. less
