What I love about this: The dancer's concentration is palpable and provides a stark contrast to the exuberance of her costume. The brightness of the subject against the stark background is quite dramatic.
Frank Bruno is a contemporary figural painter based near Philadelphia. He was trained at the York Academy of Art in York, PA, and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. His work has been shown in galleries and exhibits in New York and Philadelphia since 1990.
This work is unframed, but is suitable for hanging with or without a frame.
