Antique emerald green and white swirl bucket with lid. This bright marbled bucket is often referred to as enamelware or graniteware. It is created from metal, and covered in a lacquered paint. This piece in particular is known as a coal miner's lunch pail. It has a handle for carrying as well as a lid with a handle. The handle is made of metal and has a wooden piece at the top on the handle.
Sometimes this particular glaze is referred to as chrysolite. However, this can be deceiving as chrysolite is a type of stone.
Use this as an ice bucket, or put it on display with a collection of other graniteware or enamelware.
