It is made of very heavy opaque glass with a graduated amber colour, shot through with random bubbles, and sitting on a quatrefoil base. It was made in the mid-/late-1970s.

the lamp has a typical temde double bulb-holder at the top, with a brass knob to hold a shade in place. The lamp additionally lights up inside, with a third bulb-holder concealed within the glass, which gives out a warm glow.

the lamp accepts x2 e27 edison screw cap bulbs, and x1 e14 small edison screw cap bulb. The lamp has been rewired and earthed with a generous length of premium italian double insulated three core twisted cable with a vintage-style zig-zag braid.
