By the outbreak of the first world war they are one of the largest german manufacturers of electric lights in germany. Following the first world war and into the 1 920s designs by christian dell, wolfgang tümpel and others were produced taking on the new design style of the bauhaus. In 1931 the company takes over rondella lamps and continues to produce some of their designs. The company moves to lahnstrasse 60-68 frankfurt am main in 1937 and then undergoes reconstruction and modernization of the production buildings in frankfurt after the war in 1950.
