An incredibly rare 1930s serving tray, made of black Opaxite Glass.
Smaller than the average serving tray, this piece was used for offering aperitifs or cocktails to guests. The black shiny colour nicely contrasts with the dark red mat colour of the two handles. The serving tray is standing on the four small sphere legs.
Details of note, the lovely bending bright pillar box red handles, in contrast to the shiny glass black of the Opaxite Glass.
This piece is in good vintage condition. The black opaxite glass in in perfect condition. There is some wear on the red handles as the paint slightly peels off at some parts of the handles.
