The two arm … Read more This is a superb set of assembled George III Dining Chairs after a model by George Hepplewhite. The two arm chairs and four of the side chairs are matched and date to the late 18th century. Two of the side chairs are of a later date. All eight chairs are in very good overall condition with an old surface. The mahogany has acquired just the right tone over the chairs' 200 plus years of use. A set of eight chairs in this excellent condition is an uncommon find. These chairs are currently being upholstered in a Clarence House linen velvet; the seat cushion filler have been replaced with new foam. A complimentary 19th c. triple pedestal mahogany table is listed separately. See less
