Offering a lovely, circa 1970 Klara Sever sculpture titled 'Babe in Arms' produced by Austin Productions -- a museum production company known for its high-quality, collectible reproductions of classic sculptures. This sculpture by American contemporary, postwar artist Klara Sever (1935- 2021) features a young girl seated and holding a doll. It is hand-crafted in a high quality DuraStone plaster material.
Sever was born in 1935 in Trebison, Czechoslovakia. She studied at the School of Art and Design at Bratislava specializing in sculpture and ceramics and served on the faculty of the Department of Art History at Comenuis University where she earned her PhD.
