Cocktail table with bronze base sculpture of a green sea turtle and fish, titled Honu Solo by Dale Evers
This was originally a cocktail table with an oval plate glass top with beveled edge, above a bronze figural base decorated with a turtle and tropical fish swimming among coral reefs. It is titled Honu Solo and is by the marine artist Dale Evers. Honu is the term for the green sea turtle in the Hawaiian language and is known as a symbol of good luck and longevity by the people of Hawaii. This table is from an edition size of 98 and was first released in 1994 and the edition solid out in 1996. This table is currently not available for purchase anywhere else. The bronze sculpture has green patina. The overall Dimensions of the table (with the orginal glass top) are 17" high, 60" wide and 36" deep. The base is about 100 lb in weight. See less
