Stolen. This Hans J. Wegner chair epitomizes the designer's nature, with the ideals and organic esthetics seen through the blend of quality materials utilized, to create luxurious and comfortable seating experiences. This import transcends to the shape, reclining angle, and padded cushions, which makes a dynamic and elegant statement with presence and panache in nay interior domain, beyond the obvious function notwithstanding. This also includes the ottoman, for resting or reclining one's feet, or for extra seating within a social environment, with the added coziness, calmness and affability. This also happens to be Wegners' favorite piece of furniture he signed. A/P. Stolen was the Manufacturer of this chair between 1960-62 in Denmark. Steel frame is a polished chrome-plating, while the body or upper portion, has been upholstered in a luscious, warm and luxurious sheepskin, black shearling textile. Due to technical problems with the technical and marketing issues, this chair ceased production in 1962, and stayed a such until 1985, whereupon, it was issued by a different manufacture, Jorgensen, who remains the only licensed manufacturer.

This is the original one manufactured by A.P. Stolen. The other Listing we have in the camel leather is by the current licensing agent, Jorgensen. if you should inquire with any questions please don't hesitate to comment.

In excellent condition. This chair and ottoman sat in an entry lobby, to a closed ofcice environment which was set up, designed with a nod to a Soho Loft Office/Business.
