Worked in Paris from 1951 on a United States government grant.
First one man show at Kaganovitch Gallery in 1954
Studied with Hans Hofmann in the United States and Fernand Leger in Paris and at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere.
Holdings: Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris; The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam; Moscow Museum; Whitney Museum of American Art; Eisenhower College Collection; University of Maine.
