* Abstract, non-figurative theme
* from 1948 to 1952 Hansing completed an apprenticeship as a goldsmith. In 1952 he received a scholarship from the French government to study with Fernand Léger in Paris; In 1954 he received another scholarship from the cultural group in the Federal Association of German Industry to study at the Berlin University of Fine Arts. from 1956, Hansing had a studio in Groß-Quern (Schleswig-Holstein). In 1962 he moved it to Paris. Since moving again in 1966, he lived and worked in the Rhöndorf district of Bad Honnef. He recently suffered from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Already suffering from these illnesses, Hansing created his last work with the portrait of the then Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Wolfgang Clement, which was unveiled on May 25, 2007. He has an extensive painting and graphic work, designed metal sculptures and related his art to architecture. As a student of Fernand Léger he received important impulses.
