* Carl Fischer was born in Ostrau in 1891 and studied at the Royal Ceramic Technical School in Bunzlau. It is one of the greats of Bürgel ceramics and is particularly characterized by its cross-style decors. Fischer enjoys experimenting by combining the styles of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and New Objectivity.
