Bookcase from the end of the 19th century, in cedar burl inlaid with ebonized wood fillets and palmettes.
It opens with 4 doors including 2 glazed central ones, rounded and with lattices.
Finely chiseled and gilded bronze decoration depicting antique vases and laurel wreaths in frames, asparagus fluting, garland falls, egg friezes, rosettes, etc.
Rests on 6 carved spindle feet ending in gilded bronze shoes.
Interior in blond oak, height-adjustable shelving.
Beautiful quality of cabinetmaking and excellent condition
