Gorgeous and intricately-detailed C. 1880 mahogany secretary. Original wavy-glass doors and key with tassel. The cabinet is in two parts; the upper section with glazed doors enclosing a hand-marbled paper-lined interior fitted with three shelves; the lower case with a hinged-front drawer enclosing pigeonholes and shelves over a leather writing surface, above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing two sliding shelves.

When the secretary part is open the cabinet dimensions extend out to 38.5"
