Very decorative set of antique Japanese harvest baskets from the Meiji period.
Dimensions: height 26/23 cm, diameter 38 cm.
These baskets, made of bamboo and reinforced with washi paper, were used for harvesting rice, fruits, and herbs.
The washi paper prevents anything from falling through the basket.
The set stands out due to the unique, aged paper, making these baskets not only functional but also a beautiful representation of Japanese culture and craftsmanship.
An interesting addition to a collection of Japanese antiques or as decorative objects that add a touch of history and authenticity to your interior.
