the lamp base is finished with a blue and grey glaze. The chamotte clay gives a natural and living surface.

it is signed under the base (pls for per linnemann-schmidt). Palshus has been founded by per and his wife annelise linnemann-schmidt. The couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps).

their design is timeless, these lamps have a contemporary and graphic side despite being over 50 years old. Colors were characteristic scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.

many other talented ceramic artists also worked for palshus including jens h. Quistgaard and esben klint.

it comes with a new lampshade. The lamp has been re-electrified. It works on 110v and 220v. E26/e27 socket. The eu plug can be replaced by an us version free of charge.
