After his studies at the collège calvin, he entered the school of fine arts, which he left after six months to undertake long trips through europe, the united states and africa. Upon his return, he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to artistic creation. His first painting exhibition took place in 1960 in geneva. To expand his vocabulary of forms and enrich his painting technique, he turned to cinema, studied photography, became fascinated with engraving and built his first press to print engravings.
Passionate about music, both classical and contemporary, he built several musical instruments, an organ, then his vogella, a kind of large 8-string guitar, and a koto.
In the late 60s, he made sets for the théâtre de poche, then met serge golovine and created sets and costumes for the grand théâtre de genève for several ballets.
During this period, he discovered indian music and built his own sitar and surbahar. He became friends with ravi shankar.
He created a dance hall in geneva, the "black bird", which was distinguished by an inflatable dance floor.
In 1966, he was invited to collaborate on the illustration of contemporary german poets, published in "centauro ii", edited by h. Raumschüssel in göttingen. In 1972, he recorded and edited the book "parallèlement" (poems by p. Verlaine) presented at the ateneo museum. In 1978, he published 20 pen drawings in the magazine "obliques" dedicated to alain robbe-grillet (borderie, paris).
In the years 1989-1993 he made several mural paintings.
from 1974 to 2005 he exhibited in switzerland and abroad, in germany, france, poland, canada and latin america, in galleries and museums, especially the galerie cour saint-pierre, europ-art palexpo, musée rath, musée d'art et d'histoire in geneva, helmhaus in zurich, galerie skipholt in reykjavík, haus der kunst in munich. In 2006 he became independent, opening the pavillon de la tulette, where he regularly exhibits his work and that of the artists he values. This piece has an attribution mark,
