Starting on a footed bronze base … Read more Offering this unmatchable Chinese teapot made of carnelian stone with enameled bronze and filigree. Starting on a footed bronze base the carnelian stone is attached with bronze bands to the base. Off of one of the bands the handle is attached with a frog that sits atop the curve. Off of the other two side bands half way up are lions heads. Off of the front band is a spout. Around the top of the carnelian stone is more bronze that has been enameled with foliate and floral motif. Around the top are bronze filigree and a filigree top with a bull that sits atop. See less
