  • "Hi Matthew: I'm glad the set got there safely. I was sweating a little too because even though I've never had a problem with Plycon, when they picked up the set, they didn't blanket wrap it before moving it. I am very careful and I obsessively baby my antiques & vintage pieces, so I told them - hey now this piece is 50 years old & only has this knick & it better not get any more. I'm getting new pieces daily. Just got in some stunning antique rugs & chairs. Let me know what you seek & I'll locate."

  • "Hello, I wanted to let you know that the chair and ottoman were safely delivered yesterday and I am very pleased. Going to look for leather tomorrow and have it reupholstered. But I've had a worry-filled couple of weeks! AFTER I bought the chair (and paid with my debit card) I thought to look up reviews of Plycon and I found dozens and dozens of horror stories. So I was really sweating it. But all is well. So thanks again, look forward to seeing what else you have soon. Best, Matt"

  • "Hi Matthew, Congrats, you're going to really enjoy this excellent piece. Thanks for your purchase. The shipper has scheduled to pick up the set from us on Tuesday March 22nd between 12 and 2. There's no reason to stress with this being your first experience buying through Chairish. I've been a seller in this marketplace since Fall 2014 and you'll find it's a smooth professional experience. Just sit back and relax."

  • "Hello, and thanks again for accepting my offer on this chair. My parents had one when I was a kid and I've been trying to find one for the past year or two. Would you mind letting me know when it has been picked up by the shipper? This is my first purchase through Chairish and trying to figure out how everything works. Many thanks, Matt"

  • "Matthew C.: Hi Matthew, Sure we can negotiate, you just make an offer and we can go from there. We have reduced the price on this beautiful set several times in the past few weeks. It was discounted to $1300 just yesterday."

  • "Hi Matthew, This MCM chair is estimated to be at least 50 years old made most likely in Michigan. There is a small tear on side of left arm [left as sitting], otherwise fabric is in practically excellent condition. There are a few tiny white specks like dust or paint debris that come right off. Item is as it appears in photos and considering that the fabric isn't showing 50 yrs of leather wear, we'd guess it was faux leather, but couldn't be sure. I know it's passed down through a family from Chicago."

  • "Hello, can you tell me whether this chair is still available? If so, can you tell me a little more about the condition? It appears that there may be a couple of tears or worn spots on the arm? Is it genuine leather? Best, Matt"
