The … Read more The most incredible vintage needlepoint throw pillow I have ever seen! Brilliant vivid colors and expertly worked. Circa 1970s.

The pillow features a stylized owl perched on a tree branch with green leaves set against an eye-popping gold yellow ground. The owl himself, in addition to brown, is in colors of lilac purple, dusty pink or mauve, bright blue, orange, and red. The box construction of the pillow is made with back, sides, and welting in soft brown fine wale corduroy. There is a metal zipper opening and a muslin poly-filled insert. Pillow has very nice loft and retains its original plumpness with no lumps or any other issues. Excellent condition all around, no odors or stains.

Measures approx. 11.5" square with an overall loft of approx. 4.5" high. See less
