Model 1231, unlike model 1235, … Read more Set of 4 different Gispen chairs model 1231 designed by Ontwerpbureau Gispen in c. 1960. Model 1231, unlike model 1235, was designed without armrests. The frame is made of steel; 3 chairs are chrome-plated and 1 chair is grey lacquered (original). The seat and back are upholstered with the original vinyl in different colours, black, 2x blue and green. At the back of the backrest, the frame forms a handle. The legs still have the original floor caps at the bottom. Dimensions: h x w x d= 80 x 44 x 53 cm, seat height = 47 cm. Colour: silver, grey, blue, dark green and black. Condition is still very good; slight signs of use in accordance with age and use. This piece has an attribution mark,
