Exceptional unique piece attributed to Gouthière Pierre 1732/1745, enriched with finely chiseled and gilded ornaments
Pierre Gouthière is one of the greatest French bronziers of the 18th century, gilder and engraver for Kings Louis XV and Louis XVI. His delicately carved works, commissioned both by Queen Marie-Antoinette and by the greatest collectors, earned him great fame.
Magnificent mini cylindrical tripod cauldron in bronze decorated and chiseled with series of acanthus leaves. It rests on three high fluted feet ending in a sabot and is equipped with a fixed bronze handle with faun mask attachments.
With lid surmounted by a pine and once again decorated and chiseled with series of acanthus leaves.
Place it on your altar. It will be ideal for your offerings, your spells/candles or for burning your sage
