He graduated from the Graphic design faculty and painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. 1983 onward, he became the member of the « Group of Three » (Grupa Trzech) also called « Tercet nadety ». "Even though a lot is shown in realist painting, one realizes that realism can always defend itself. Especially, when it tells us the truth about the world, when it goes beyond borders of naturalism and grasps our reality. The artist mainly paints Passion, scenes from the Bible and nudes.
