A handsome Louis XVI style marquetry wall mount wood console. Mahogany body and a burl top and gilt ormolu molding and ornaments. Made to stand on two legs and to be installed on a wall. Vines, florals, and kneeling deer are included in the carvings. Inlaid gilt etchings around the top.
No obvious markings on the pieces.
In good condition. Some gentle wear consistent with age and use.
This console would make a great accent in any home. Great for any entryway, hall, or powder room.
