The female sculpture holds a stool and bucket, representing agriculture as she milks her animals. She is dressed in a dress with drapery details and a scarf over her head. The male figure, one hand out of his pocket, whistling, wears a wide-brimmed straw hat and carries a wicker basket filled with fruit and vegetables.
