Founded in 1744, Lomonosov was the first porcelain manufacturer in Russia and one the earliest in Europe. This exquisitely sculpted, hand-painted bear is in remarkable condition for its age. A factory mark on the bottom dates the piece to the late-1940s or early-1950s and suggests it was made for the domestic market.
