Henryk Albin Tomaszewski (born March 1, 1906 in Siedice , died July 19, 1993 in Warsaw - Polish sculptor specializing in art glass . Biography .
In the years 1926-1930 he studied at the Municipal School of Decorative Arts and Painting in Warsaw, in the years 1930-1936 he studied under the supervision of Prof. Tadeus Breyer and Prof. Tadeus Pruszkowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw . In 1946 he moved to Szklarska Poreba , where until 1950 he worked and created in the local glassworks "Józefina". from 1950 creates as an independent artist. In the years 1950-1952 he taught at the Glass Design Studio of the state school of fine arts in Wroclaw . After 1963, he settled permanently in Warsaw, creating his glass sculptures, including: in glass factories in Targowek , Wolomin , Falenica and Ozarow . He held several solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. The glass sculptures of Henryk Albin Tomaszewski are in museums and private collections in Poland and around the world.
